Josia Komogo has more than 30 years’ experience in the mining industry and with extensive experience in crushing/grinding/ classification, hydrometallurgy/leaching (CIP/CIL), froth flotation, solid-liquid separation and gravity concentration.
He has previously worked as Metallurgical Superintended for African Barrick/Acacia Mining, AngloGold Ashanti-Geita Gold Mine, Buckreef Mining and Maaden Gold and Base Metals (Saudi
Arabia).
He holds BSc. degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from University of Dar es Salaam and has also undertaken several trainings locally and internationally such as Modern Assay Laboratory Practices, Commercial Assay laboratory operation and Plant Commissioning Experience, Metallurgical testworks Interpretations, Project Management course, Extractive Metallurgy of Gold and Metallurgical Accounting Principles.
He is a registered professional engineer with Tanzania Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as well as a member of the Institution of Engineers Tanzania (IET).
