Mr. Shauri has over 4 years of experience as a consulting Mining Engineer with specialization in mine planning and design, feasibility studies, and tailings storage facility design.
He has notable experience in conducting mining project feasibility studies, preparing mine plans, tailings storage facility designs, geophysical seismic investigations, and mineral resource assessments. He has contributed to numerous mining and infrastructure projects across Tanzania for clients such as STAMICO, Knauf Gypsum, Busolwa Mining, and CHICO.
Mr. Shauri has participated in the development and optimization of mine engineering solutions, including dynamic soil characterization for hydropower and solar projects, as well as the design of mine closure plans and resource estimation for industrial and energy minerals.
He previously worked with Barrick Gold Corporation and STAMICO and currently serves as a Tutorial Assistant in Mining Engineering at the University of Dodoma. He also operates independently as a design engineer.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam and has received additional certifications in Tailings Management and Geotechnical Engineering from institutions including the Colorado School of Mines and Rocscience.
