Eng. Daniel Mwanga is a Metallurgy and Mineral Processing Engineer with experience in metallurgical laboratory tests, gold and industrial mineral processing, graphite beneficiation, stainless steel industries, and engineering design from conceptual to feasibility and final implementation stages.
He has extensive expertise in artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) support, mine plan development and the application of modern gold recovery technologies such as vat leaching, CIP and CIL. His background also includes site assessments for industrial minerals, capacity-building training for miners in Tanzania and Kenya, and technical consulting in copper and gold projects. He also involved as among a team lead in TIES Retort design and fabrication from scratch.
Eng. Mwanga has previously served as Plant Metallurgist at Ikoloman Mineral Technologies College & Mintal Laboratory in Kenya, Independent Consultant in mineral processing and exploration in Tanzania, and is currently a Mineral Processing Engineer at Tanzania Integrated Engineering Solutions Co. Ltd (TIES).
He holds a BSc. in Metallurgy and Mineral Processing Engineering from the University of Dodoma and is a registered Graduate Metallurgy and Mineral Processing Engineer with the Tanzania Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
He has also attended professional training workshops in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Industrial Enhancement Programs under the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project, further strengthening his technical expertise.
