Cornel Mtavangu is a dynamic Computer Engineer and IT Specialist with experience in mobile and web development, hardware programming, UI/UX design, and digital marketing across healthcare, mining, and industrial sectors.
He has played a pivotal role in the digital transformation of the mining sector through his work at Tanzania Integrated Engineering Solutions (TIES). Notably, he led the development of the TIESMineApp and the Metallurgical Calculator—both in web and mobile form—tools that have enhanced accessibility to technical resources for miners and engineers across Tanzania. These innovations position TIES as a pioneer in digital solutions for the mining industry.
At TIES, Cornel also contributed to the redesign and optimization of the company’s digital platforms, resulting in improved user experience, higher web traffic, and increased client engagement. His efforts in integrating technology into business operations helped streamline service delivery and promote consultancy access to remote users.
Beyond mining, he has collaborated with AGKI Medical Laboratory and Ngwala Inventions on key projects such as patient management systems, electronic machine automation, and intuitive user interface design. His broad technical skill set includes React Native, Django, Python, microcontroller programming, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Mbeya University of Science and Technology and is passionate about machine learning, data science, and blockchain technology.
